Originally from Egypt, our family of four emigrated to the States ten years ago.
Our family brought with us delicious recipes. Some picked up from our grandma and great grandma back at Egypt. Others created by Chef Gege that quickly became new favorites.
One thing we've always believed in is: Nothing beats coming together with family and friends around a healthy homemade meal.
Now that we've found our forever home in Washington State, we decided to pursue our lifelong dream and start a family-style restaurant.
We would like to invite you to join our family and have a healthy delicious homemade bite with us.
From our family to yours with love,
Hibiscus Tea (often referred to as Karkadeh) is one of the most common drinks in Egypt. For a good reason. It's refreshing, tasty and has a beautiful reddish pink color.
For our family in particular, Hibiscus means a lot. Mainly because of its amazing health benefits.
In addition to being rich in Vitamin C and minerals, it's been known to reduce both blood sugar levels as well as blood pressure.
We wanted our family restaurant to bring you healthy homemade dishes that are not only mouthwatering, but good for you.
Hibiscus felt like the perfect name to capture that.
And, well ... we can't have enough of it.
